A fun light genre blend of an indie pop track that it pleasant to listen to. I do think it is perhaps a little too clean and a bit uninteresting.
Some of the best tracks of the year are on this album, I need more time with it but it will very likely grow on me.
As a big fan I had been eagerly awaiting the day that to the bone would get a proper digital release as before this the only format on which it was available was a somewhat rare no reptiles 7 inch single. I love that track, but I was really surprised by the song pressure. The vocal mix doesn't feel entirely finalized but the secondhalf has this absolutely gorgeous instrumental guitar part.

This is such a fun project. Very creative. My favorite track is parkour.
An album that I think is strongest in its sound palette choices. It is a very unique blend of indie rock, country and slacker rock that is backed by an impressive vocal performance with a very interesting strained tone. It is a tight and pleasant listen that goes down smoothly. It is a project that exhibits a maturity and general feeling of ease that can only be achieved by a band that has some experience under their belt.
