“Blue” and “Vanishing” are kinda bad. But the first 3 tracks are AMAZING. “The Nurse Who Loved Me” is lame but “Pet” is FANTASTIC. throughout all the tracks I love the OOMPH this record has with its guitars, and Maynard’s vocals punching my ear. This was a very enjoyable record to listen to. And even with the less then great tracks, the record doesn’t drag. I give this two thumbs up. Live laugh love Simon Pegg.
I think the second half is clearly better than the first half. Tracks like “Motiv8” and “A.T.M.” Just don’t offer much upon repeated listens. But “Kevin’s Heart” and “Once An Addict” are genuinely great. Along with of course “1985 An Intro To The Fall Off” one thing I can confidently say is the production and beats are top notch. Just feels like J Cole got scared of his own concept. Live laugh love Simon Pegg.
All killer no filler. Straight bangers. Full of single potential tracks. Howard Benson really came THROUGH as producer. Live laugh love Simon Pegg.
Idk. I wanted this to be good. Alex is a pretty good vocalist but I’m unsure whether or not he’s able to maintain good lyrics for a whole song. This kinda felt like if you asked A.I. to write an All Time Low album. This album also sounds like it wants to be produced by Travis Barker SO BAD. live laugh love Simon Pegg.
All the best aspects of what makes this band work. Clean production that’s not overdone, punchy guitars, snappy choruses, good vocals from Alex that ride this line between douchey and blissfully young. This was just a consistently enjoyable record that made me smile. Live laugh love Simon Pegg.
