Honestly not bad
This was my first Latto album, and honestly I did not mind this project at all. There was some great production here, and what I will say about Latto is she can RAP. Some songs were bangers on here, but the others were either not memorable or not great. But overall, even as someone who doesn't listen to girl trap songs often. i would definitely come back to some songs on here.
Hostage is generational. Young Nudy should've picked up the phone.
UPDATE AFTER A COUPLE WEEKS (75->87) - I understand it now!
This album took a minute to click for me because I thought it was boring, but nearly every song has grown on me. Even that once horrible intro doesn’t even sound too bad anymore. HABIBTI is a showcase of Drake slowly and methodically walking down some amazing R&B beats like we know he can.
Favorites: Classic, White Bone, Gen 5
Least favorite: Rusty Intro

Worth the wait in every way, ICEMAN in my opinion gives us some of Drake's best work since views.
This album is just filled with slaps from start to finish. A combination of pure trap hits that will likely chart for a while, and the signature (no hook. all bars) Drake. A motivated Drake is a scary one, and you can feel the emotion throughout. This album almost sounds angry lmao, but it leads to some truly great songs.

Here's some positive in all of the negative that this album has received.
Maybe people don't enjoy fun, maybe people hate this side of Drake, maybe people just dislike Drake in general.
Or ofc, you just think this album is not good.
However, as someone who loved Honestly Nevermind, I very much appreciated this album. It has great summer vibes from start to finish, and in my opinion Drake is great at this. The run at the end of this album from True Bestie to Goose and The Juice make ... read more
I cannot believe that I've never heard this album front to back before.
I've been an MJ fan since my actual MJ phase as a kid, so ofc I've been very hyped with all of the attention surrounding the new movie. Naturally, I've been revisiting many old songs and albums, and I realised that I havent listened to every MJ album front to back yet.
I think EVERYONE is familiar with the first half of this album. It's one of the greatest track runs in music history. Don't ... read more

Max's evolution with his music has been pretty fun to see. Crash Dummy gives us 6 completely unheard songs from Max, and they're all pretty solid. I think what continues to impress me about Max the most is his flow. Listening to ELASTIBOY and DIFFERENT BAG, you can truly tell how much it leveled up from the last project. Speaking of which, can we PLEASE talk about ELASTIBOY. I hope this song gets the attention that Sevan got, because he is just ... read more
I knew that this would be special..but my mind is blown
No matter who you are, it's hard to go 23 songs without saying that at least ONE is "just alright." However I definitely sat by black ass down and sat through all 23 with a smile on my face. To begin with, this is Nine's best album. From the incredible start, to the end of the album, EMOTIONS was flat out enjoyable. This album is so much fun, and I believe that everyone can find a song on here to enjoy.

I basically saw BULLY as a reminder that Kanye West is still in that twisted cranium of his.
The past couple of years have been rough for any Kanye West fan. (Music wise and Non Music Wise) From the AI, to the unfinished tracks, to the threat that was the CUCK album. I ALMOST believed that the chance to get a great album from a relatively sane Kanye West was gone. Thankfully, I was wrong.
I'm proud to say that BULLY is one of the best rap albums that I've heard so far this year. The ... read more
Longgggg Overdue.
POSITIVES:
- Consistent, even with it's length
- Some standout tracks, something that LYFESTYLE was missing
- Yeat continues to push his boundaries as an artist
- Some truly beutiful songs here, especially in the second half of the album
- I personally love a good double album
- Features did their thing! Went Wrong and NO MORE GHOSTS sound like a dream.
- Yeat you've done it again!
NEGATIVES
- The "A Dangerous Love" section started a tiny bit shaky for ... read more
a 10 out of 10 album is more than simply an album to me.
it’s an experience.
blonde by Frank Ocean is the embodiment of ear pleasing music. Whether you’re heartbroken, looking for some lyrics to pick you up, or vibing, and in need of a calming soundtrack. this album is like an old friend to me that is always waiting to help me out. there is a song for everyone to like on here. from the gut wrenching Self Control and White Ferrari to the peaceful Pink + White and Seigfried. graduation: the ultimate feel good rap album.
from start to finish, Kanye consistently brings uptempo vibes, and it’s just hits on hits. we settle in with the legendary “Good Morning” intro, which leads into one of the best track runs in rap history. Kanye’s producing ability shines here as always.
admittedly found her through drake, and i’m so glad i did. this album is such a vibe
It's a Babytron album
Nothing crazy or anything. It had its moments where I believed we would get a taste of his old sound. And then there were songs like Wondering that just didn't do it. Idk man this album is missing some life, especiallly towards the end. The standout songs for me were Tell Me, and the incredible back and forth that he had with Rugrat on Geek Time. I don't mind this tape, but it definitely did not need to be 17 songs due to how inconsistent it was.
A holy grail of trap albums.
A Love Letter To You 3 is one of my personal favorite albums. While of course it isn't anything generational, it will always hold a special place in my heart. Some of Trippie's best work is present throughout this mixtape. Songs such as Topanga, Fire Starter, and Love Scars 3 show Trippie's ability to pour his emotions into melodies while making some incredibly catchy hooks. This album is very consistent from start to finish, and features actually ... read more

As a Lil Yachty/Concrete fan, this tape was a lot of fun. For starters, this definitely tops their last mixtape. We see the debut of the newly added Honest, who has some great moments throughout this album. The tone is set from the start with back to back bangers to begin Vol. 2. It may be slight glaze as I've been a Draft Day fan since Boat introduced him, but he definitely shines the brightest during this album. His solo song "TRUST ME" is one of my favorites on ... read more
Baby Keem had the WORST childhood imaginable.
For claiming to not be much of a lyricist, Ca$ino is a story filled with struggle and grind, mixed in with some bangers. For me, the second half of this album COMPLETELY elevates this project. Baby Keem is at his best having fun behind the hardest beats imaginable, and that was very present throughout this album on songs such as "Sex Appeal" and the tone setting "Ca$ino." I appreciate him branching out on "Dramatic ... read more
This EP was flat out amazing. Nine Vicious continues to show his ability to make catchy, fun songs that can make most underground fans just start jumping. It's a perfect mix between grails that fans have been waiting on, and unheard songs to bless our ears. It's pretty consistent from start to finish, however I wish that there weren't so many songs put together. It works for me on a song like More Painting, but to go from such a hype "Fuck Ogs" to "You So ... read more
Finally, after three whole years, one of the powerhouses of current RnB returns! This album wasn't necessarily mind-blowing, but it definitely has a couple songs that I would come back to. This is just your classic Brent Faiyaz album, smooth, calm, and even funky at times. Speaking of that vibe, my favorite song, other side, captures that perfectly. It gives off a groovy 1980s school prom in the best way possible lmao. With that song, some more highlights for me were butterflies, and have ... read more
Part of me still cannot believe that this is Jermaine Cole's last album. HOWEVER, if it is, what a wondeful way to end off. The Fall-Off is two near-flawless albums filled with hits, amazing storytelling. and food for thought. J.Cole has truly mastered the storytelling element of hip hop.
