never quite reaching the heights of her previous record , also being the only charli release I have heard that slips into a streak of about 4 boring tracks in a row. Not that any of them are necessarily bad, just bland and a let down after the synth powered electrified pop jams that opened the thing.

Pretty solid, danceable Post-Punk with a solid helping of noise mixed in.
For a debut it's pretty damn great with only a few missteps, throwing their work in possibly the wrong direction for their sound, putting some aesthetics over the actual quality of the sound. Especially on songs like Heather which just lost me completely with its classic rock n roll style that just went nowhere exploratory wise for me.

I enjoyed this far more than I ever expected to be honest.
As a lot of other people have mentioned a hell of a lot off effort clearly went into this release even if he may not want you to know that at times.
The production here is pretty solid here for a lo-fi project, everything sounds nice and doesn't stray too far into the meme sound thank god.
Just a lot of fun, check it out.
