fun energy but still jane has a way higher ceiling than this when we getting the generational music back?
all the lyrics about "we dont need no intro" are really ironic when the intro was the only good track lmao
this is like all the corny parts of no formula without any of the good parts
thought this album was just mediocre until they started rapping about encouraging kids to touch each other on rock and roll. what the actual fuck

21 TRACKS? bro.
first track actually made me think i was gonna be blown away. sadly after that the entire album was just the same boring song over and over.
every song sounds the same. theyre all good but nothing really makes any songs stand out at all
this was a wonderful experience but that one spot on empty dream machine with the vocoding is jarring as hell
this would make an oldhead kill himself. i like that these guys at least have like some amount of enthusiasm on the songs instead of sounding like theyd rather be anywhere else like a lot of underground rappers rn. does feel like in an effort to make songs stand out, they made some truly baffling decisions in the production department.
what i liked: beef bout no dame, bad 4 talking (mainly for the beat)
shit sounds like if you rapped over hold music. also why does he keep talking about horses.
the last beat on the album genuinely made me upset
the beats are beautiful but the vocals sound like this shit was recorded in one night. theres also a bunch of really awkward insanely offbeat verses (like the one on mo money than ur dad). doesnt feel completed. i love foggies rapping voice though. waste of an iconic alicia keys sample too.
listen to stay awhile, huey and riley, and psalm and islam. everything else is missable.
