Really struggling to understand what people are hearing in this project. I fear we are not listening to the same thing.

Slayyyter the women you are. I have never heard a generational run of single releases like this in my life, and I'm ready for everyone to take her serious because Starfucker was just as much that bitch as this album. I agree with others saying that this thing is frontloaded, but that being said rest of the album is still EXTREMELY strong. This is an easy 100. I really recommend takin the time to listen to this alone in your room and to move your fucking body.
At the beginning I was feeling like it was gonna be a little boring, but as it kept progressing it just got better and better and the tracks were overall very solid. Doesn’t re invent anything but solid calm melodies and progression on mantra was awesome.
Feels like we’re always on the way to something great and then we never get there w each and every song. Still a fun listen even if boring at times
Beginning had me a little nervy but I ended up really loving this. Extremely unique and never heard anything like this. It feels like something really bad is about to happen but also u can't stop bobbing ur head.
I feel like im not listening to the same album as everyone else. It's like good but it's also just really boring and some songs felt out of touch to me.
This is a tough one to write. The album had a lot of unique and phenomenal moments, but for each one of those there were equally as many boring repetitive songs. I swear 5-6 of those songs all sounded like clones, and I dont appreciate the volume over quality. If the 5 tracks that were carbon copy spirit box songs were removed, this would be an easy 80-90, but wow was I very tired sitting through half of it. The highs were high though!!
Absolutely love this direction they're taking. This album feels like what the world feels like to me.
Shit is absurdly beautiful. A futuristic trip through of grooves and unmatched production that has me stuck on repeat. Absolutely album of the year for me. I don't think any release could top this.
