john michel has so much potential i cant wait for the next album

its a good album dont get me wrong, however i felt like it needed a lot more gusto to it

i dont really see myself coming back to this but this offers some GOOD songs and is worth a listen

UNBIASED REVIEW: Ignoring what Kanye has decided to do and put out the last couple of years, i went into this allowing Ye to show me how he will come back hot. Was this the case? sort of..

The only way i can really describe this album is being in a baseball game, where you bat an incredible run and watch proudly- but instead of being a home run the ball slowly falls down.. and down.. and down.. missing the home run completely.

its over. words cannot describe this album, its just stunning. NEVER in my life would i have said 'Yes, I can listen to a 5 hour album and not get bored' and have actually meant it - wow... This album, despite being so minimalistic, was just so incredibly well put together with extremely intense buildups during songs that lasted for so long, accompanied with elongated drone moments - calming, soothing, yet eerie.

im conflicted. i was going to go on a rant about how frustrated and miserable this made me while listening to this (while not in the intended way), the realisation of how it ties into the story kind of drew me away from that..? the fact that all of the songs are so intense and rough, like a hurricane thrashing your ears viciously with gusts of noise you arent supposed to hear, made me feel a lot more connected, and emotionally vulnerable just like how it was intended to be ... read more

holy shit. completely different pivot, completely different tone to the previous albums and i am here for it. The dark ambience is phenomenal (most of the time, it does get a bit boring in some places.. :c ) and despite this being something that should challenge my attention span, it doesnt

im really hoping this trends over to TECHDOG 6 and TECHDOG 7 because i am crawling in my skin to finish this off

This is where the album begins to get serious... the lyrics help make the album collage more apparent as to what its aiming to convey and the quality increase compared to the previous albums is so much more apparent!!
The final song really set the mood for TECHDOG 5-7 and im so excited to continue onwards

wow. im actually so glad i stumbled across these albums because the ambience building is incredible.. i just find it astonishing how every song sounds so 'similar' yet you can easily tell anything and everything apart from each other, this is easily the best one yet and probably the best of them all?
