I believe this might be the closest I've ever got getting emotional and tearing up while listening to music.
I have no earthly clue with Delgados were forgotten or why this album isn't among the top rock albums from the past decade.
Sigur Rós are, justifiably, more loved for their ambient, oniric melodies rather than their pop fast-paced pieces, yet I found this album to show both sides of their work at their finest. I can not help but dance and smile with Inní mér syngur vitleysingur and Við spilum endalaust but there's always room for laying back and relax with Festival and Ára bátur.
