I have no idea why this isn’t rated as by far the best westside gunns albums. Banger after banger after banger after banger after banger. Westside Gunn has never and probably will never make a project this good. Heavenly production, hard as fuck yet relaxing, literally every feature is insane, the samples are next level, and it’s so easy to relisten to everyday and never get tired of. Yall need to relisten to this. This is incredible.

This is genuinely their best album somehow. All of their other albums have mostly just good songs with at least 1-2 big standout amazing songs. This album has those standout songs (infinite source, souvenir, cxs, milk of the Madonna), but every other song is also just great. It’s a great album from front to back, unlike every other deftones album. Saying all this as someone who’s top artist is deftones.

So many perfect songs. Wish i could rate this higher. Have already gone back to this album 4 times today. Just so interesting and done so well. Every song sounds different, but just look at the album cover. That’s the goal. Every song is supposed to have a completely different sound that keeps you mesmerised and wanting more. So good.

Gave this album a complete review while listening to it for the first time. Added some things and a rating to each song on the second listen.

life is gone - 90. immaculate production. Really got me in the mood to listen. Captures the feeling of the rest of the album while still being a good upbeat opener.
