"Hurry Up Tomorrow" is sort of bittersweet. The Weeknd will forever be one of my favorite artists, and while this may not be a top tier project of his for me personally, this is another absolutely incredible album in his lineup.
The production on this album is out of this world. If you like a good synth, this album is for you. Mike Dean makes some of his best beats in his career on this one and it is fantastic.
The vocals are electric as well, as always. Abel is absolutely ... read more
EGYPT is great and this cover art is fire buuuut this is a pretty stale and empty EP. Not that it's bad, it's just that the sound has run its course.
Stick to production, man. The beats are great at times but the vocals... and the AI... it all boils together to make some slop.

MISSES: (Let's be real this whole concept and execution is a big fat miss.)
An excellent, long-awaited collection from some of the best in hip hop today. Saba can't miss, and paired with No ID's smooth and infectious production, this project was well worth the time it took to release.
FINAL SCORE: 89/100
HITS: Every Painting Has A Price, Breakdown, Crash, Westside Bound Part 4, Head.Rap, 30secchop, How To Impress God, a FEW songs
MISSES (if I had to pick one): BIG PICTURE
Y'know, for all the excellent singles LE SSERAFIM has released, I can't get interested in any of their projects.
Even as a 12 minute EP, this somehow still feels like a boring drag. None of the sound is bad, as a matter of a fact I think "Ash" is a great track, but there's nothing here. No meat on the bones at all, just 5 dry tracks. I've heard the highs of LE SSERAFIM, and maybe one day they'll bring those peaks into a project.
