It would be *Hyperbolic* to suggest there’s anything memorable about this new PNAU record. Ha ha ha, ha ha, ha ha. No but seriously this is one of the most by-the-numbers albums I’ve heard in a while. It is deeply inoffensive, takes no risks at all and only seems interested in offering up extremely basic dance-pop with no real flavour added or risks taken beyond the occasional cool featured artist (anyone else missed Empire Of The Sun?). I suppose it’s not a bad album, but to give it any praise beyond that would be- say it with me now- *Hyperbolic*. Look, I did the joke again! Ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha, ha, ha ha ha.
