great lyrics, good vocals, and really that's it. while Perverts also wasn't nearly as good as Preacher's Daughter, it had a distinctive sound, which made it a really interesting listen, and here the whole thing sounds at most like outtakes or demos from her debut album. the songs are nice but they drag on for way too long. unlike on Preacher's Daughter, here there's no build-ups, no moments of tension, no sudden shifts, no several separate parts in one track, so ... read more
honestly pretty disappointing :/// I don't mind her going for more electronic/club sounds (S.M.O. and Starkilla are bangers) but the production here is mostly mediocre and half the tracks sound unfinished and repetitive. I'm here for the queer African representation but I need the Fountain Baby level quality to come back
