Between the greatest albums of the time and the albums that are garbage, this album is smack-dab in the middle. The opener is alright at best, "Stop Right There" and "Lullaby to Tim" sound very folk and country-infused; the voice effect on the latter though is a little unsettling, and "Water On the Brain" has unique elements I’ll give it that but it’s okay. I like "Have You Ever Loved Somebody's" conventional mid-60s sound, same with "Rain On The Window" that oddly enough sounds like the band's earlier hit "Bus Stop", which I really enjoy. "Ye Olde Toffee Shop" is one of those childhood songs that’s always in a British Invasion album about a place somewhere back home, "Leave Me" is a pretty good track, and the closer, "Games We Play", is also pretty okay. Overall, I think this is as standard as psychedelic gets. There's nothing that really stands out, but it has all of the elements of psychedelic. Although, with the horns, it sounds a little more baroque than anything. This album is like an honorable mention of the era. This album is on the list of 50 psych albums of the 60s because someone could only name 49 really good ones. Ok, I'll won't diss the album any further, it's alright.
