Denzel Curry - Melt My Eyez See Your Future
96

Exceptionally diverse and intricate, I loved Denzel's flow on this album so much. All of the songs were amazing, although I do prefer the second half a touch over the first. I want to point out the instrumentals on this, such a great job of infusing jazz into the instrumentals

Nujabes - Metaphorical Music
96

Super consistent and well-produced album that just emanates nostalgia and tranquility in every way. Love this even more than Modal Soul

Broadway Cast - Hamilton: An American Musical (Original Broadway Cast Recording)
90

I had a colossal Hamilton phase when I was younger (like probably 30-40+ listens), and some of the songs are genuinely still really catchy. Fire tracks even if it is sometimes corny

jschlatt - A Very 1999 Christmas (Deluxe)
86

Forgot to rate this but it's a pretty decent deluxe, didn't add too much to the original though

Toby Fox - UNDERTALE Soundtrack
96

I mean it's Undertale bro, so iconic and memorable. Amazing OST

Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas
95

Holy ethereal album, so beautiful and pleasing to the ears. Actually sent me to another dimension, really really good

Favorites: Like everything honestly

Nas - Illmatic
87

Pretty fire album, loved the flows and beats on it. Not much to say here, just a really well rounded and influential record

Favorites: N.Y. State of Mind, The World Is Yours, One Love, It Ain't Hard to Tell

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
93

Amazing album by Kanye, so many good songs in here to appreciate. There were like 1-2 mid songs on here, but those didn't take away from the overall quality and enjoyment of the album. Really liked listening to this!

Favorites: All of the Lights, Monster, Devil in a New Dress, Runaway, Lost in the World

Nujabes - Modal Soul
94

This is one of those albums that really make me appreciate the beauty and humanity of music. Just amazing, chill, and dynamic instrumentals with a lot of great features. Stunning album, and rest in peace to Jun Yamada.

C418 - Minecraft - Volume Beta
100

Peak. Dreiton might be one of the greatest things to grace my ears

Stan Getz & João Gilberto - Getz/Gilberto
92

A very relaxing and chill album to listen to, really calms the soul. Nice and enjoyable, and basically all the songs were amazing.

Favorites: The Girl From Ipanema, Desafinado, Corcovado

Will Wood & The Tapeworms - SELF-iSH
77

It's an okay album, filled with some great parts but also some very mid parts. The instrumentals are fine, but I just found myself being pretty bored for the majority of the album.

Favorites: Hand Me My Shovel, I'm Going In!, Dr. Sunshine is Dead

Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life
100

Such an amazing album filled to the brim with positivity, joy, and optimism. Every song is special in its own way, with Stevie's amazing vocals and instrumentals being packed with all sorts of unique sounds. Super emotional and passionate. This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite albums ever.

Favorites: Sir Duke, Summer Soft, Isn't She Lovely, As, Another Star, Ebony Eyes

Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
94

Super beautiful album! My ears were being blessed by the production, genuinely out of this world. I loved how each of the instruments were used here to make such a cohesive and really nice and solid sounding tracklist. Super great stuff, some of my favorites were What's Going On, Save the Children, and Mercy Mercy Me.

Radiohead - In Rainbows
83

In Rainbows is the first album from Radiohead I've fully listened to, and this rating could definitely change as I listen to more of their stuff.

There's some really nice sounds on this album, some just not for me. I can understand why people like this album so much, there is definitely a lot of passion and beauty that went into this. One thing that I think threw me off were the vocals, they were muddy and hard to make out at times, just not my style. Some of my personal favorites ... read more

Hayley Williams - Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party
82

Very nice Alt Rock album from Hayley, most of the songs felt fresh and really solid. Every song has pretty good production and it was generally a fun listen. However, there were some filler songs that definitely drag down this record as a whole such as Discovery Channel and Brotherly Hate which I didn't enjoy a lot. Overall though, still a very interesting record.

The 8-Bit Big Band - Game Changer
88

I love this album! It's so full of energy and vibrancy, every song is so great and just pleases the ear so well. That's not to say there weren't any pitfalls in this album, it's definitely not perfect due to some parts that just weren't for me. But, it brings such a unique twist on the originals that I just adore.

Tyler, The Creator - CHROMAKOPIA
95

A really emotional and personal album that has a really nice variety of moods and concepts that just sound great. There aren't really any bad points on this album, the whole thing sounds cohesive and solid. Outstanding record from Tyler.

grentperez - Backflips in a Restaurant
67

Good album ruined by repetition, it felt like I was listening to the same song on repeat for most of the album. This could really do with more experimentation like songs such as 2DK (which was one of my favorites on the record) to keep it interesting throughout. Vocals were really nice, just lacked creativity and expression which made it really boring at times.

Paramore - brand new eyes
88

Fun album, every song was really energetic and spirit lifting. One of the problems I had with this is that almost every song sounded relatively the same, apart from Misguided Ghosts. Besides that though, no real problems with this, really great
