Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise (Re-Recorded - Sped Up)

pissing on coolios legacy also its off key

How to Disappear Completely - Seraphim
94

i think this album represents what dissociation feels like pretty well. a sort of "watching existence from a tv" sorta feeling. something like the all encompassing void that awaits us after death lurking behind it all. its cold, bleak even. its a sort of "walking through a snowy forest at night" feeling, the vibe of being alone. each song here feels like each of those things, like staring into a void

Daughters - Daughters
75

pretty heavy and never lets go of the gas at any point. some bits are a little ehhhhh with sounding a bit like a sea shanty, feels a little cheesy but otherwise yeah no this is heavy and good shit. i think the final song is the best off of this and builds up very well !

87

jesus christ man this might be the scariest album ive ever listened to. usually i can listen to stuff and want to keep listening, but this was like i had to stop myself from just leaving for 5 mins to regain composure fairly regularly through my listening. its maybe one of the better power electronics albums ive heard but it REALLY nails the themes of death (albeit in a morally dubious way), with that sort of ominous dreary heavy tone throughout the entire thing much like walking through a ... read more

SENTRIES - Snow as a Metaphor for Death
85

wow this album has so much variety, its nuts (and its pulled off well, especially there being a full on electronic song in the middle of it). holy shit the title track might be one of a small handful of songs i think are truly perfect in every aspect its crazy how fucking amazing it is, and the buildup to it on seance makes it EVEN more impactful and like the end of the world, or passing on. i think the rest of the album is fairly hit or miss, but with less misses than hits, with performance ... read more

Devon Hendryx - Air Guitar / HBK
98

i mean yeah i get why he shortened the air guitar part as itd be a little out of place on the actual album itself, but damn in the context of this song itself its a genuinely incredible listen, same dreamy and "falling asleep" sorta vibe as the rest of the album does, but done in a longer more drawn out format, essentially feeling like a condensed version of tgpt into one song. btw hbk itself was my fav song off of tgpt and finding out theres a longer version was like christmas lol

Moodie Black - MBIV
62

pretty neat little ep, i think in specific the morning stuck out to me as being great, with the sort of "knife stab" type beat. i think the cucuy really didnt do it for me and kinda just felt not that enjoyable to listen to, and the rest of the tracks were solid !!!!

Rhett and Link - Epic Rap Battle: Nerd vs. Geek
NR

same font swans use. also they should kiss. love wins broh

97

prime cop killing music, in love with the unhinged vocals sounding like a complete mental break and the noise elements on this are wonderful and go with the vocals being insane and loud. good shit

Fishmans - 98.12.28 男達の別れ [98.12.28 Otokotachi no wakare]
84

when it hits, it is like an energy ray of pure love and happiness, you can FEEL the passion and love put into this, its beautiful, but the first disc to me is a bit "filler" in some spots like 頼りない天使, it doesnt really hit that hard it just feels like it shouldnt be there, but it picks up by the end of the first disc (also the beginning is incredible, oh slime is a wonderful opener), and oh my god disc 2. DISC 2. JESUS. disc 2 is some of the most beautiful and heartfelt ... read more

Sewerslvt - we had good times together, don't forget that

goodbye is probably one of the best things ive ever heard, if not my personal fav song of all time. the rest of the album is somehow almost as good i cant believe how fucking heart breaking this album is. it almost feels like this album is "cursed" in a way of it being pure raw grief depicted in artform. the vulnerability of showing smth so heart breaking must have been like, MONUMENTALLY hard to do though

Daughters - You Won't Get What You Want
100

god i hate alexis, but GOD i relate to this album and its sound an insane amount, its one of those things that amps me up like few other things and resonates with me deeply emotionally, this is one of those albums that the entire thing from start to finish is genuinely perfect. like noise rock is one of those genres that are my absolute fav but this, ohmahgod THIS fucking nails it in every single way and it just feels like drowning in neurosis (this itself sounds like an album title lol) and ... read more

Nadja - cut
75

i listened to this a few weeks ago due to a recommendation from a friend and damn was he on point with it. i love this it feels like a sort of walk through a wintery wasteland

Onision - I Am Trash

i listened to this 2 years ago and the memories of how horrifically awful this is are still prevalent in my mind. this shit is legitimate pedocore, and the music is straight up awful ! there's basically no redeeming qualities nothing sounds interesting in a way that doesnt wake me up from the coma i was in while listening to this abomination, i truly, truly hate this bc of what it represents with an abuser trying to redeem himself by being like "umm its her fault and i hate polyamory ... read more

Yuno Miles - ALBUM
50

wait what the fuck its actually not awful????????? i was curious abt this album cuz yuno makes stuff that makes me giggle and slap muh bellay
seriously though hop in the ride is a song i like a loooot its gonna be stuck in my head for a week lol
i genuinely dislike that way though it feels too generic and not really interesting, it just feels like 90% of other trap u can find
everything makes me laugh and slap muh bellay and stuff so yeah its a 10/10 and my new fav album of all time (move over ... read more

Machine Girl - PsychoWarrior: MG Ultra X
86

wait what how did i NOT review this ????????????? i listened to this when it came out and loved it
each single is god tier and at points this might be their most heavy stuff yet (ugly art is still most consistently heavy for sure), songs like dread architect are actually unbelievable bc of how insanely loud it is. psychowar is my fav song on the album it feels so crushing and like u are actively gonna collapse at any moment

Consumer Softproducts - Cruelty Squad (Original Video Game Soundtrack)
92

slurp slurp slurip slirp slrrrrp one of my fav games and fav osts ! not really any way to describe this other than this is some primo benadryl shit

bleood - pain
52

maybe a few too many songs and most of it doesnt do much for me, seeing as i dont really like trap/rage but some of the songs like the title track and family guy are really nice and i love the like glittery sorta sound i get from it, also god damn i love the album cover and his general visual style of bloody gorey hyper stuff, def someone im gonna be keeping up with even if the music isnt my thing :)

Geese - Getting Killed
89

this makes me wanna get in a car and drive around a desert away from civilization. GOD DAMN it's consistent theres not a single mid song its all just good shit, but by god taxes is a perfect song

Prostitute - Attempted Martyr
87

me likey. it scratches the daughters itch except they don't have a rapist as the vocalist
i really love the sort of "air burning and suffocating u" sort of vibe this gives, especially mr dada that song is FUCKING INSANE i love it and the rectum sample on jourmana kayrouz is so fucking based that song is awesome
I do feel like this is nowhere near the peak of what prostitute can do and itll get better on their next album
