Schlagenheim has to be one of the weirdest and most exhilarating musical experiences you can have. Brilliant production with crazy riffs and perfect drumming all topped off by extremely strange vocal delivery add up to a brilliant album.

I went into this having no real negative or positive expectations going into Ashnikko's WEEDKILLER. I had heard a few songs from her before and found myself really not gelling with them. As someone who has enjoyed A7x more as they ventured into more progressive metal with The Stage I think while this is a less complete project compared to the stage i think the execution of the ideas is solid while not perfect and I actually enjoy the vocals (bar one or two small instances) and think it's definitely worth listening to first to gauge whether or not it's for you. I think this is a solid prog album that may grow on people over time.
