This is possibly one of the most personally important reviews I have ever written. Yesterday I listened to this for the first time not really expecting a profound experience, just a great album but I got both and so much more. This is the longest and wordiest review I have ever written but it is the one that wrote itself because I have spent every waking minute of the last 2 days decoding and interpreting it. A fun song from our favorite, quandale dingle. The texturedness and the thought behind Quad's production arrangement can never fail to amaze me.
Well, that was disappointing. This review is not going to be the most fun to read, as a fakemink fan I was really invested into this rollout and it's tough to swallow this lost opportunity for greatness that was surely there.

I don't get how this album has a 60/10 on this website, I have had a an absolute blast listening to it the last couple weeks. Meditative, yet fun, has a lot of Daft Punk qualities with the dance inspired songs and repetitiveness. Sure, it is not very ambitious and some songs feel like stripped versions of his sound from previous albums, but I honestly like how straightforward this album is.
End of Summer specifically has to be one of the best songs 2025 had to offer. It's a whole ... read more
