Only listened to this for the Call Me Maybe cover, but all in all it's pretty solid.

The disembodied/ghostly feel of the production makes this one of the best early Peggy tapes and really shows a lot of what would eventually be expanded upon on All My Heros are Cornballs. Granted, the mixing feels a little grating, but can be forgiven when taking into account the concept for this project.

Also, if Peggy were to come out with a strictly covers album in the future in which he reinterprets songs in the same vein he did to Call Me Maybe and BasicBitchTearGas (a cover of NO Scrubs ... read more
