I just revisited Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. and honestly, it reminded me why it’s one of the best concept albums ever made.
The whole album revolves around this crazy idea of “wickedness vs. weakness” — like, is Kendrick falling apart because of who he is deep down, or because of the messed-up world around him? He flips between pride and guilt, love and lust, control and chaos. It’s personal but feels universal.
