This is such a fucking mid EP, post-rock is overrated as fuck!
Is what I would've said if I was still the ignorant youngster I was a few months ago
This EP made me discover post-rock, I figured a short EP could be a good introduction to the genre, just a quick taste. I was absolutely wrong. GY!BE can be really polarizing although it's not the strangest post-rock band, but it's still post-rock, and for someone completely ignorant about the genre, it might not be the best place to ... read more
This doesn't sound too ass but it's generic
It makes me feel like i'm listening to an improved version of mask by dream lmfao
50 reviews special woo!!
This album is part of my comfort zone and anyone who tells me to leave my comfort zone clearly doesn't have one comfortable enough.
I already made a review for this a few weeks ago, but after some reflection, I figured I could've wrote something way better for such an album and such a band.
GY!BE was the first post-rock band I've ever listened to, starting off with their EP slow riot. To be honest, I didn't find it that interesting at first. I ... read more
I just finished my first listen of this and I will absolutely not be able to rate it
I am impressed, confused and really fucking scared but I sure did not get bored
Also as a French person i actually felt like Michael Gira was straight-up laughing at me at some points on Toussaint L'Ouverture
What the fuck is this album
I guess the members took their antidepressants after ants from up there
One day my dad's gonna smack me because i'll "accidentally" scream the lyrics to Basketball Shoes at 1 in the morning
Ants From Up There is one of the most charming, tragic and emotionally dense albums i've ever got to hear. It took me multiple listens to listen to it in its entirety because i always fell asleep when Concorde came on since my smartass thought it was a good idea to listen to this late at night in my bed with no lights on. However, the first time i ... read more
I find tyler's songs to be more interesting and packed in emotions than the rest of the tracks here, everything's solid though
I hate so much that some people are willing to forgive ye because of one apology with no action taken after it and one album
If ye really wants to redeem himself he will eventually have to outweigh the bad he's done with good which is going to be a really complicated task
Let's not forget that what he said wasn't just out of pocket but also had actual impact because of his insane influence
I just wanted to rant a little about this
I just listened to mercurial world and imaginal disk in one sitting late at night
Fucking magical man

"I'm 60 and i'm not a big fan of rap but this is real music!"
Dax, you changed my life man 🥹🥹
My wife never understood me, but she can't know about the pressure of providing 😥
I always tried to tell her i was only acting that way so she could improve, but she keeps saying i'm a toxic husband 😔💔
She doesn't understand that us men have to keep our sadness and anger in us, and sometimes let it slip out as we can't handle it anymore, i mean i just couldn't help calling her a fuckass worthless bitch because she slightly ... read more
This album is really comforting, but at night it can also be really unsettling
