There's a lot of beauty underlying these well-written, pretty and nicely arranged songs. The album might have lacked a hit single, but there's depth and complexity lurking beneath its mirrored surface. As a whole, it is artistically more convincing and more complete record than TTFD, BTH or WUASTC.
The band gave these classic songs a new lease of life, and some of them (Dreams, Ode To My Family, Free To Decide, Just My Imagination) might even sound better than the originals. Three new songs blend perfectly with the rest on the album. Actually, The Glory might be my favourite Cranberries song ever.
Maybe it is not sheer perfection, but it is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most beautiful posthumous albums I ever listened to. The lads said goodbye beautifully, both to their sister in music, and to the fans.
