Now imagine if it was only 2 Chainz and The Alchemist
One of the few deluxes to come out that actually enchances the previous album
This album reminds me a lot of Taylor Swift’s Lover. It’s an album with a new cool aesthetic for the artists and has some fantastic songs all throughout but unfortunately is way too long and also has some of their worst songs.
I just don’t see the point to this. Marketed by Antonoff as a more mature reimagining of his first album I expected some more interesting experiments or maybe just a cleaned up album. Instead what we got is essentially an acoustic rendition, losing a lot of the personality or fun to be had with the record. There are some tracks where it works decently such as “Like A River Runs” yet everything else just doesn’t live up to the original.
The whole concept to this album combined with the gorgeous instrumentals and singing make this one of the most interesting and important first listens I’ve had this year, can’t believe BLK ODYSSY isn’t more well known. Going to keep an eye on him in the future
Some honestly decent production and (mostly) quality features are not enough to prop up the utter void of personality that is Rich the Kid. At best this album is basic trap music and at worst it’s an unbearable slog to get through.
I take back any negative thoughts on Macklemore’s previous discography.
It’s genuinely great to see a more mainstream artist take the time to educate themselves and use their platform to speak out on what’s happening with Palestine.
I’m tired of having so many 50-60 ratings so I’m just gonna say this one isn’t bad just not my thing
Might be the worst Carti feature this year
That’s saying a lot
