This was a fun hyperpop/rage album! Favorite tracks: Marionette, galore and angels cry.
The lyrics for this album are incredibly dark, and basically, for the most part, says theres no hope for humanity. Also that this time may be everyones last chance to change someones mind, or do what you wanna do because the end is closer than we think. Dangermouse production is solid as always. Accept It is a chilling and short track that ends with the world in the afterlife. This is a very negative album, but it does match with the current times. Favorite tracks: Line Dance, Perfect Time, and ... read more
Wow. There is no energy in this album really. Definitely not worth the 4 year wait. Harry's House had so much energy and was so upbeat, but it seems like the soul has been sucked out of him altogether in this album. Dance No More was the only track that sounded remotely disco, but every other track was basically generic and forgettable.
This style really does not work for Flying Lotus at all. He tried at least, i'll give him that.
This album was a fun listen! Some really good rage tracks mixed with rock/metal like instrumentals. Favorite tracks: The Sky, Daytona, Flashout Freestyle.
The guitar riffs were pretty nice and theres so much rawness to it with the vocals and production. Definitely some potential here! Favorite Track: stuffed animals and i can't wait for my incelcore hyperfixation to fizzle out.
Only liked PHONY and HOOPTY, everything else I dont care for. Production was kinda bland for the last 3 songs.
There were some high highs on this album, but also low lows. Production is crunchy but smoothed out, I like it! Favorite tracks: you ready? , who tf is u, halftime, paris hilton, cross em out and make it bleed.
This was a really fun poppy chill vibe dance album thats kind of trance like. Fave tracks: boyfriend and paris (to get you out my head).
Really solid and short project! I really love the vocals and the production makes it feel like early 90s alt rock. Fave tracks: Lightning, In a Lake and Cats.
It feels like Damon is making music for himself and it shows! The flutes are overused and the first 5 tracks almost put me to sleep. The Hardest Thing sounds like a Ye interpolation, and really not feeling the vibe of this album. Ive been a Gorillaz fan for years, but honestly this is the last project I listen to from them. Fave tracks: Manifesto and Damascus.
This album is takes you on a wild ride through darkness, euphoria and the unknown all in 39 minutes! Sophie is very good at creating worlds through sounds! Fave tracks: Immaterial, It's OK to Cry and Whole New World.
I wasnt expecting to like this, but I did? Very laid back smooth production overall, and he still has his signature tenor vocals, very good performance! Fave Tracks: Why You Wanna Fight, Risk It All and God Was Showing Off.
Not sure why everyones mad about this project (Other than Dr. Luke), it sounds great! The bass is so lively on GO and JUMP was super fun, Me and my was cool and beats are punchy. Champion was a bit meh but its expected for a couple songs that sound like that to land on the kpop album, and Fxxxboy was a chill track. Overall a solid project!
Not as punchy and catchy as Love or Obscure Questions. Favorite Tracks: 不死身ごっこ and Q
