There’s a lot of high points on this record that I LOVED to death. Tracks like “Save The Cat”, “Cannibal”, “Archangel” and especially “Halo” were fucking great, and some really strong dnb tracks that hold the energy I want and expect going into a record like this. Everything about this new Pendulum feels 10 years too late.

For starters, let's address the elephant in the room—75% of the entirety of this album had been released as songs in EPs since 2020. These same songs were also 75% of the entirety of these EPs that were released as singles beforehand. As proper new material, we get, drum roll please...

For a comeback that ended up spanning over 4 years, pendulum's first full length release since 2010 ended up being surprisingly cohesive and a generally successful evolution of the group's unique rock/dnb crossover sound.

Everything that made Pendulum what they are; the blended dnb/rock structures, rob's belting vocals, the innately chantable lead lines, is right here, all with an updated palette of sounds.
