Absolution

Brad's stream of this kinda soured my opinion of this, but it also got me to finally listen to it, so I can't be too mad. I'm honestly not too upset about the 9/11 conspiracy stuff. That was 15 years ago, and Bellamy has come out and denounced those beliefs and called them ignorant and such. I can't be too mad at the guy. He's improved.

Now that that's out of the way, what's my opinion of this album? It sounds nice, but it was a bit of a letdown for me after how much I enjoyed Origin of Symmetry. There are good songs here and it's a good experience overall, but nothing especially memorable, and I wasn't blown away by anything like I was on the last album. It seems to be an unpopular opinion based on the track ratings but I think I liked the second half more than the first half, so I'm glad I listened to it all.
