Even after almost a decade later, SZA's "Ctrl" is still one of the, if not the best, albums to come from the 2000's century so far. The album highlights topics such as reclaiming autonomy, insecurity (specifically body image), toxic relationships, and the search for control that is still very prevalent since its release. SZA's meaningful songwriting and the relaxed production created by masterminds like ThankGod4Cody and Scum make "Ctrl" a true masterpiece, and the themes of the album only get more relatable as you get older.
