Impeccable.
The usage of soundfonts to construct the main melodies of most tracks like on marionette gives the whole album a nostalgic feel to it whilst also pulling in the modern aspects of hyperpop. Confetti as well as artists in the same vein like Khel contribute fresh music to an over-populated genre using techniques and production features unseen elsewhere. This album falls extremely short compared to their past works, and the usage of ai in the music video for "Is This The Real You" Irked me the wrong way. Generally Sevendust have pushed nu-metal into new eras but with this album it doesnt feel very original, and like it was designed to be in a show or movie in the worst way possible. So cute. Reminds me of my homegirl amy. So calm for Lucy. Good to look back at Lucy's first couple hits and see what their doing now. Although only three songs long, the seven minutes that it lasts for are enough. Even so, that is my fault with this album. The songs being so short makes you want more from it but it can never give you that. Either way, Lucy is an intelligent producer and that is reflected in the quality of each track. I smell my own farts sometimes btw
Genuinely the most beautiful release he's ever made. Jack Johnson has a talent for making heart felt bangers that could put you to sleep in the best way possible. I appreciate how minimalist the instrumental is, his acoustic-focused approach to recording is just superb. This album inspires people to be better. Only took ten points away from my rating because he looks like Epstein. Poor guy.
