Incredible production and freestyling here, the jazz elements elevate everything and make this a joy to listen to through and through. While some tracks leave something to be desired lyrically to match the sublime instrumentals, there is no song here that isn't at least great.

Lowlight: Take the Long Way Home
Unapologetic rock, the best songs on here are when they're just jamming out fast pace. The lyrics are fine enough, but the instrumentals steal the show here.

Very well produced and just very consistent and pleasant to listen to all the way through. The best moments are easily in the middle, the drumwork and just booming sound really pound the lyrics through.

It is beyond me why the second half of this turns into a Blackpink album, it's a jarring tonal change and really kills the vibe of the album, but the closer kinda saves it. The first 7 songs are a great story about change, from jealousy of others improving in Brutus, feeling like you have no one to turn to in an important part of your life in Van Gogh, or embracing your new self in Hot Goblin.
