Imaginal Disc, to me, feels like it is exactly what music should sound like in 2024. A sound that is fresh and explosive but that also feels respectful of everything great that came before it. Isotropic serves up an appropriately dense helping of IDM and experimental electronic music on Refraction Spaces. The production is detailed and intricate, but still carries the energy and intensity that the genre deserves. Each song here has a lot to offer, unfolding new layers after each listen.
