Crest

I can't remember the last time an album clicked for me as hard as this one. This is one of those rare cases of an album that feels like it came at the perfect time in my life. A time where I've been stuck in a pretty negative mindset and my dissatisfaction with the world around me only grows stronger by the day, an album like "Crest" comes along and reminds me that it doesn't have to always be like this. That *I* don't always have to be like this. Listening to this album is the closest I've come to experiencing euphoria in a long ass time and while that may not matter or seem significant to anyone else, it means the world to me. Every song on this just brings me an odd sort of comfort, there's something so infectious about this music and how unapologetically lighthearted and playful it all feels that it just brings me joy. With that being said, there's also a great deal of beauty and ethereality to this music, not uncommon for Bladee's typical sound, it just fits so well. There's not an ounce of pretentiousness in this entire project, it's literally just fun music and good vibes and I didn't know how badly I needed that until I heard it.
