Bright Future

This is a truly amazing record. Powerful and emotional songwriting, amazing instrumentation from front-to-back, fantastic production, beautiful vocal performances, what's not to love here? This isn't the sort of album I see myself returning to often, due to how patient, subtle, and generally depressing its contents are, but even with that in mind I have no problem calling this my favorite album of the year so far. I loved everything here and I think this is easily my favorite Adrianne Lenker project that I've checked out, although I do need to revisit that Big Thief album at some point.
