I think I saw it in bandcamp but someone perfectly summed up this album for me. This album sounds like a beautiful nightmare. Terminal Lucidity is incredibly raw. The mixxing, vocals, and lyrics all are stripped down into a filthy mess here. Terminal Lucidity manages to make Wetdream sound far more polished which is its greatest strength and flaw. While to me Twin Fantasy is my favorite album of all time and in my opinion Will's magnum opus. Nervous Young Humans is probably one of his greatest feats as a songwriter. For an album to be 2 hours long and somehow not feel too bloated is a feat, I don't think many albums of this size can claim. Shoegaze was always a iffy genre for me until I really got into this album. I think this album really has shown me what shoegaze can be. To me this is THE essential shoegaze album, up there with the classics such as Loveless and Souvlaki. Considering this album is a D.I.Y project. I'm a HUGE fan of any demo's and especially demo albums, and this is a great example of an amazing demo album. Tracks such as "No 8." and "All They Wanted" feels nostalgic and very catchy. The track "All They Wanted" is probably one of my favorite demo songs ever. Its so raw and that LO-FI sound that I LOVE really shines here.
