i have to say that i was very mistaken about this album. on multiple subsequent listens, the thing has grown on me and i've come to appreciate it more than i used to. ecco2k's voice is probably my favorite thing on earth, since he sounds so calming despite a lot of the subject matter on the album. they're enhanced so much by the dreamy instrumentals and heavy repetition, getting lost and mystified by the album.

until the last three songs, this album is very boring. yes, it's ethereal and atmospheric, but it comes at the cost of sounding like the same song over and over again.
