Absolution

Muse is a truly unique band, I'm not sure anyone else really sounds like them, and they have a lot of music to listen too, each with it's own aesthetic and story to tell, but for me it all starts with hearing "time is running out" on the radio and I've been hooked ever since. It feels like an opera when you listen to it all the way through, with moods coming and going, great rock music and piano playing, I get swept up in the operatic singing and distorted guitar. This album will always hold a special place in my heart, I'll always get goosebumps from the piano break in "butterflies and hurricanes" and I'll always come back to listen to the first album that sparked my love of this band!
