It was good, ive never been the biggest earl sweatshirt fan, even though I do like some of his stuff. This just wasn’t my cup of tea, some great songs on it though don’t get me wrong
I liked it. Ive honestly never been a big fan of Alchemist’s production, it always just felt sort of repetitive. I still hold that opinion after hearing this album, but it was a good project regardless.
FAVORITE SONG: Ensalada. Really meaningful song, and Anderson .Paak’s feature was great.
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Skinny Suge II was kinda boring to me. Nothing about it stood out and it was sort of repetitive.
UPDATE: After listening to the album a couple more times, this time with movement, I definitely appreciated it more.
I really want to endlessly glaze Tyler and say this is the album of the year. But I think either this album just isn’t hitting as hard for me as I hoped, or I just wasn’t in the right mood. Way exceeded my expectations. Every song was consistent in style, but none of them sounded so similar that it became boring. This was a no skip album for me.
FAVORITE: The Birds Don’t Sing was such a fantastic opening to the album, and such a unique sounding track.
LEAST FAVORITE: Let God Sort ‘Em Out/Chandeliers just didnt do it for me production wise. Kinda bored me tbh.
