(Note: People are going to review bomb these 3 albums and that's pretty cringe honestly. I do not like a lot of Drake's music or him as a person but still weird to leave fake reviews.)
ICEMAN his first solo work since the whole Kendrick beef. My relationship with his music is pretty complex. His newer albums were not good at all but Her Loss and Certified Lover Boy were pretty good to me. But I dislike his way older stuff, and love some of his most controversial albums.
I love he's basic to this older, late 2010's trap sound. With beat switches almost every song. Gives me "nonstop" energy.
Pretty unique vocal inflections and cadences on this record, same with the use of samples on this. Which makes these collection of songs either hits or big, big misses.
Production sounds a lot more like Yeat than Drake, which I am a bit disappointed about. I am not a fan of the chill synth sound of the slower trap style.
It did have really high hopes when I heard those first three tracks. I do wish this album was better. The disses he made against Kendrick were genuinely good songs. If we had a whole albums of those I would love that.
