At its worst its mid, at its best its pretty great.

Going into this I did not expect much but wow. A lot of the songs here are really catchy and the vocalist is the definition of punk for sure.

Simply plain and boring.

Overrated Rapper and Album

Going Into this I had the idea that Jay-Z is an overrated rapper. Which I think Is true, he just never caught my interest like any other artist, like Kanye West or Kendrick Lamar.

But I keep seeing this album floating around, people saying Its amazing and one of the best. So I decided to bite the bullet and take a listen to it for myself. Going In open-minded of course.

For my first review of this I will be doing LEFT

You can for sure tell he is emotionally hurt, even after his previous album. This side is heavy, dark and distorted.

It has been one day since the writing of LEFT and i will do RIGHT now.

Its just like the other side.

This album is pretty good, too long however. No reason for it to be almost two hours without much change in the albums direction.

Certainly nothing to write home about. Just something to move on from and forget.

This album from track 5 to 9 is incredible. The other songs are alright but it goes on for a bit too long, still amazing though.

I don't like comparing artists debut albums because IT can be unfair but this has a more interesting and diverse soundscape (especially the drumming) than deathconsciousness but most of the songs come off as tracks that did not make the cut for that album and were slapped onto here. It is pretty alright i suppose.

I get why people love it but I could not fall in love with this record like most people.

Like with most of their albums. Had amazing potential but was otherwise ruined in the most disappointing ways possible.

This is the start of me listening to the top 100 (maybe 200) rated albums of all time, both rym and aoty.

I have a complication relationship with MF DOOM, going into to this i did think he was overrated and pretty much disliked his lyrics and rapping because I thought it was.. for a lack of a better term "pretentious"

My first death grips album ive heard and one of their best

People on the moon is not good. While jenny death is alright.

Had potential to be amazing.

Sad to say this album grew off me a bit. It's still amazing but has so much filler tracks, and filler isn't a right word but so many songs that are just a 1 minute or less long and are unnecessary for the album.

The little interludes add to this albums ambiance sure, but make it a drag and some of them just really should have been cut. Like something and something 1.

The producers messed up a lot of the songs i like a lot but it's okay. Wish it was normal.

I am rewriting my review and I must say this has to be horrible. I mean the album called EXPERIMENTAL RAP, is some of his least experimental and good music since, ever..

I mean he had such a good run, some of the best discogs in the experimental hip hop scene. This is not good at all man.

Death grips and edm beats, same flows every song, each song being a minute and a half long. Like what is the point of all of this?

Bjork and Death Grips is pretty interesting to say the least..
