I never really solidified my feelings and overall ranking on this album.
It's really good, but doesn't feel like Beatles. It's a culmination of all of their projects into one. It feels strange compared to the other ones. It has really good moments but could never see this being above White album and Abbey Road (or even Sgt Pepper). Though, this album is filled with catchy lyrics and those good old songs that everyone's heard before. Yellow Submarine and Eleanor Rigby for ... read more
So.. This is the band that's inspired everyone huh? This record incapsulated this perfect inperfectness. I can tell this band was an inspiration to the strokes and maybe my chemical romance.
This album is very ahead of it's time, this is not an 80's record, even if it came out in '89, it's still impressive.
Such an amazing album, will be adding to my collection. This is what started that new wave of Alt Rock.
Overall this album is amazing for sure and is a classic ... read more
This is something. This is when The Beatles are starting to figure themselves out. Not a standout record. A few good songs but most of them are really forgettable. A more love-focused and somber record among their discography to say the least.
Look, it's not the best record they've made. It has misses and weird songs. But damn, The Beatles never disappoint with any of their album releases. They always make songs with this bittersweet, happy charm to it that no one else can replicate.
This is just weird internet music bs. Will not finish this.
KIDS SEE GHOSTS.
I've been on a album relistening journey and now I'm doing more kanye because my rankings were really sparce..
This album features one of kanye's best sample flips ever and that's on the 3rd track. Love that song. Also the part two to ghost town really does it justice.
I don't know how I gave it a 65 before.. This is awesome.
Pretty damn good let me tell you. I expect this to be such lower quality. The bass in these songs have been incredible. The overall production value excided my expectations. The little switch ups in the songs were jarring at first but then i got used to them and really started fucking with them.
Also the drums and the drum chopping is incredible. Keep making music bro. This is so good for it being one of your first released projects. (ill check out your other music as well).
KEEP USING VOCAL ... read more
UPDATED: Stupid pedo and bad awful music. Only good song is the hit single. Wont be listening again.
Not the worst thing i've heard.
I went into this really liking the song "The Love I Lost"
Now i thought most of this was going to be web/incelcore slob and most of it is to be fair but some songs are really good. There is a clear Nirvana inspiration this guy has. Most of his riffs are simple 4 bar power chords which is all fine.
I wish his mixing and mic quaility was ... read more
RELISTEN:
I take back what i said.. This album is great..
OLD REVIEW:
You know. I tried to like it.
My first listen was terrible but my second listen wasn't the worst. It's just boring in my opinion.
Most of the songs are just off putting and just weird.
I'm not a fan of Ween's quirkiness, really puts the album down for me.
Of course some songs were good like "It's Gonna Be a Long Night" and "So many people in the Neighborhood" (only the ... read more
