Faces... This album was one of the most anticipated ones for me.
Oh my Mac Miller. The way he does his newer albums is outstanding. The soundscape and overall feeling i get is this weird sadness and creepiness. It's done so well. The production is just incredible and lyrics as well. It's like balloonerism but a million times better.
From every beat, to verse and rhyme scheme. This is where Mac Miller shines. This is almost an imperfect record.
The day this review was posted is the day I died and ascended to heaven because that's how i felt listening to this masterpiece.
F♯ A♯ ∞ Is one of the best albums I've heard even If it features 2 songs. Each song tells a story even without the words at the start of the album.
Imogen Heap's Speak For Yourself captivated the Indietronic genre perfectly. This album has many classics like "Headlock" and "Hide and Seek" The electric guitar's on this album weirdly work with her voice and the techno drums. I didn't expect to love this album as much as I do. Even if it's highly rated, I still think it's underrated to some degree...
Heaven or Las Vegas. This album is hailed as one of the best, at least to these music websites. I had higher hopes when i went into this. The overall sound is more 80's than 90's. I am not too huge on the mixing. A decent amount of the tracks are actually pretty good. But this whole album is overhyped.
So Four Tet huh... I only know of these guys because they remixed "Scatterbrain" From Radiohead. Also, another one of my friends IDOF put me onto this album...
This album is such an odd surprises. Even though the songs don't change hardly though out, it puts you in a trance where you can listen forever. Especially with those soft vocal samples though all the songs. The drums also add a nice groove but never do too much. Such an amazing album to relax to.
Overall a pretty solid ... read more
Balloonerism from Mac Miller is by far one of his most introspective. This is where he loses all sense of that pop and frat rap and he taps into his more jazzy and soulful side of music. His guitar playing and thundercat's bass really shines here.. This one was a surprised for me as I did not expect this from him so early on in his career.. I'm so happy this album got released.
Such an amazing album. <3
Not much to comment on. Pretty boring and stale emo music...😴😴😴😴😴
Though.. Not to just leave a bland review this isn't just for me.. Most of these songs are just the same, the vocals, drumming and guitar. I can't tell which song is which. I am not a fan.
"Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" By Wilco. This is another one of those albums that everyone loves and can't seems to get enough of. I can see why people would say this. The production is pretty out there with guitar amplifier feedback and weird panning choices and the sound design, like the flatline sound and overall buzzing sounds, really set the soundscape for this record.
The drumming on this album is really amazing along with the overall songs being really consistent. Thought this ... read more
After a long 8 years... A$AP Rocky's "Don't Be Dumb" Is finally here.
Let's say it was worth the wait... This is coming from someone who isn't an A$AP Rocky guy at all.. The feature list alone is impressive with the singer from Gorillaz???? Also Tyler, The Creator. All of these beats are refreshing sounding and all hit hard. Especially with those interludes that appear so much during this album, really makes you engaged.
Also the genre switch? From regular ... read more
Cavetown makes sure to always make the most boring and uninteresting music, and with "Running With Scissors" This sentiments stays the same. Nothing about this is creative, interesting, or anything that tries even a little to break any rules. Also these lyrics are nothing but a bunch of cringe metaphors and phrases, really makes the album a difficult listen for me.
Had high hopes for this. But, this record is really boring and stale.. I don't see the hype. Also. Very boring... Zzzzzzz......
Hardly considered Metal, nor death metal at all. About 2 percent of this record features anything reminiscent of metal. "Bath" Tries to hard to be progressive and different from all the other albums out there. Just overall boring and is something I'm probably going to forget about.
To See the Next Part of the Dream. This album was on my mind for months.. What finally set me off to listen to this is my friend Cone. He loves Parannoul and this album so i decided to finally give it a listen...
This album is incredible, from everything to the layered guitars, and the ear candy synths that really bring these tracks home for me. Parannoul really hit the nail on the head with this album... Must i mention his drumming? It's suits the tracks really well. A lot of the songs ... read more
Thom Yorke brings a fresh new sound with whatever album he is on. Radiohead, The Smile and his self proclaimed work. Now I'm new to his solo projects and didn't touch The Smile. Well, I've only heard about a few songs.
Thom Yorke does really well with this electronic, edm sounding style. His creativity really differs from Radiohead to his own work. But I eat it up every single time.
Nothing much to say. Very decent.
A Moon Shaped Pool. This is when Radiohead goes more somber and less rock. This sound goes completely different here. It really fits the album cover well, like the rest of their albums do. The piano ballads hit hard here, both sound wise and emotionally. The ending track really sets that feeling for me. This album is also not talked about as much as it should but it's still a nice gem for those that are listening to Radiohead's albums.. Especially in order.
In Rainbows is Radiohead's 2nd best masterpiece. Nothing bad about this record i can think of. Such a beautiful album for me. Its so peaceful yet endearing. Almost nothing can beat this or come close to it.
One of the bands most underrated albums. This is in their Top 3 albums. Such a different sound, the mid time Post-Kid A but Pre-In Rainbows. When they were stuck once again but decided to make a masterpiece. Hail to the Thief has amazing Art rock songs same with Electronica songs from Mr, Thom Yorke.

Amazing record from the best band ever made. All of these songs hold a special place in my heart. Love this album and I will forever. This has some of the bands best guitar work and songs. One of their most emotional LP's.
