this mixtape grows on me more and more with every listen. even if some of the songs are short, it feels like a concise way to convey a message. the fact it's a mixtape leads to the more scattered and loose feeling, but it definitely helps the story that he's trying to tell. how people feel different emotions in the blink of an eye and the chaotic jumpy nature of human emotion.. somehow this guy has weasled his way into my most listened to artists of the year
absolutely heavenly album when it comes down to it like 2000s electropop was birthed by HER. very few will match this level of excellence.
ended up liking this a lot more than i expected, definitely better than fact check LMAO. one issue i had with fact check is that nothing really called my name and stood out, this album had two really big stand outs for me and i really appreciated it, definitely felt like a return to their sticker album's quality! even the formatting and even some of the songs were very reminiscent of sticker songs.
not as good as bb/ang3l but it's still super amazing.. so nice to see tinashe blow up because god knows she deserves it lol
