Some of the tracks are okay at best, this album perfectly shows the reason for Lendrick's downfall, and rebranding. He couldn't keep up with the evolution of rap, made songs that are genuinely just bad, realised people didn't like it, so switched to music that white suburban moms feel cool while listening to.
This album is a really big surprise for me in a good way, I expected a lot worse. Obviously this is a mainly Ye album, but this project proves that Kanye isn't dead, Whatever works (and a few more) could absolutely be fit in older projects. Started off great! The first few tracks were really nice, I'v been anticipating this album for a while now and I felt like it delivered well. At about the 5th track though the music just fell off a cliff, there were multiple songs where I genuinely was waiting for it to end hopnig for the next to be better. It most of the time wasn't.
