A lot of artists with more talent than I put a lot of work into this, give it a shot
I uploaded a review a year and a half ago about this album being gatekept and lost. Well. We found it.
I was tricked into listening to this because one of the demo songs were good, figured the rest of it would be good. It wasn't. I was cheated!
I have been pondering this album around for awhile, trying to make sense of it. I’d say swans is my second favorite band, and for their standards- I think this is one of their worst studio albums.
For the very first time, with maybe of the exception of the burning world, this feels like an album Gira felt forced to make.
