Really solid song, like everything about it except really only the mix. Numi and Bao are great singers, and Lily had a great performance, but for me the kick drum sounds way too tinny and takes me out of the song sometimes, which of course is fault on the audio engineer rather than the performance. Regardless, very catchy and enjoyable
It's just so hard to really enjoy this, even with Jacob Collier being such a talented musician/artist, this is some of his most dull and uninspiring work, especially when he is in the background of the mix - and the mix itself is very poor for someone of his caliber. Much of the features on this project also don't make a lot of sense and ultimately hurt the listening experience even if they're "doing everything right", it's simply boring and comes across as tasteless.
This is literally everything that's wrong with country, and why people say "I listen to pretty much anything...but country"

I can't believe it took me as long as it did to ACTUALLY read into these lyrics, never mind the MUSIC ITSELF IS FLAWLESS....I mean what can I say, there isn't a wasted second on this project whatsoever, and you can clearly how much pain Isaac has in his voice in each piece here, each lyric, each chord, each note feels like it fits perfectly and tantalizingly paints a vivid image in my mind what he's gone through.
