A few of the songs were just kind of a miss for me. Maybe I'm too accustomed to songs like Crazy Bitch so my expectations were in the wrong place. Initially, I gave it a lower rating but after revisiting this I realized I like more of the songs than I did at first.
'The Hunted' was the reason I listened to the entire album in the first place but to be totally honest, besides that, after listening to it I couldn't remember any of the other songs. It just kinda turned into one big blend, which isn't great.
It's good ole rock 'n' roll. Quite a few bangers in there and I can see myself jamming to this one for a good few years to come. Awesome guitar solos, too.
Not a perfect album, but has a good amount of bangers. Unsainted being one of them, obviously, and I love Corey Taylor's vocals in this album.
I love NSP and I love Danny, but this was probably my least favorite of the cover albums so far. Obviously his voice and the instrumentals are great like always, it just felt overall less transformative than the other two. The only song on here that really made me go "Oh damn" was Don't Fear the Reaper, everything else felt like just an average cover.
