Knocked Loose - You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To
89

came back to this project today, being we are coming up on it being a year since it released and I heard this masterpiece for this first time. Only now am I realizing that I did not even review this album in the first place, which is shocking because this was one of my favourite albums to release last year and most definitely the best Metalcore we have seen in a while. Highlights on this album for me are "Suffocate", "Slaughterhouse 2" & "Thirst". This has been ... read more

Ken Carson - More Chaos
50

"More Chaos" marks popular Opium rapper Ken Carson's 4th project, and to be honest, is a slight disappointment. This LP has its ups and downs, with tracks I really did enjoy and thought were playlist worthy, while other tracks sometimes felt like filler and did not need to be included on the full release of the album. I think the features are all complete garbage on this album, as I think Carti is in his worst state he has ever been in right now and has not been on track since ... read more

Juice WRLD - The Party Never Ends

this 3rd postmortem album for the legend known as juice wrld is a complete mess, and its honestly sad to see and i hope his label stops milking his name

Rosa Walton - I Really Want to Stay at Your House
100

Listening to this without watching the show, I probably would've gave it like 70, but fuck, Edgerunners playing this shit at the end made me tear the fuck up, if you haven't seen the absolute cinematic masterpiece, and the show that makes me emotionally unstable, that is known as Cyberpunk Edgerunners, you are missing the fuck out.

BoyWithUke - Trouvaille
60

Nothing crazy for a debut EP, but I will say that "Falling For You" is one of his best songs to this day

BoyWithUke - Melatonin Dreams
80

Not much to say being it was his first album, but I still enjoy songs off this project to date, and will keep listening to them.

WesGhost - DON'T WORRY, I'LL BE FINE
90

So, people aren't liking this Mixtape on here huh? Well, time for me to give my opinion. "DON'T WORRY, I'LL BE FINE" is the debut mixtape for this new rising artist known as WesGhost. I first this discovered Wes when I got his hit single "SPINE" in my discover weekly, and to be truly honest, I was blown away. These pretty simple guitar riffs paired with Wes's distorted rapping and singing, honestly gives me a perfect track in my opinion. And I think the ... read more

Jean Dawson - Glimmer of God
100

"Glimmer of God" marks the 4th studio album for Alt-Pop/R&B artist Jean Dawson, and does not disappoint in any way. Now, for me personally, this is actually my introduction to Jean's music, and I did not know what I was in store for, but when I tell you I am happy with the result, that might be an understatement. There is something about this album with certain songs that would just make my eyes widen and I would just sit there amazed, specifically tracks "Houston", ... read more

Slipknot - Slipknot
100

Holy. Fuck. This is by far my favourite Nu Metal album of all time. Relistened to this today, still hits just as hard, with this whole mysterious effect Slipknot gives off with the cover alone being amazing, Corey Taylor comes in with the so much variety with how he uses his voice, from almost angelic hooks to grungy verses and bridges, and then Mick Thomson always knows how to accompany Corey's look on these things with his outstanding performance on the guitar, like the formula to the ... read more

Mushroomhead - XIII
55

The first 2 tracks on this album are actually phenomenal, then the rest is so... ok I guess? Just really disappointed by this project, being that I had heard "Sun Doesn't Rise" before the whole LP. I loved the sound of this track just to not really care about the rest. Overall, not shit, just kinda aggravating.

Tyler, The Creator - Noid
95

Tyler takes another one of his very big turns in a different direction with this single leading up to his next LP, and in the best way possible. Tyler gives us this very mysterious feel with this track and it's cover, without really giving away anything about the album, still leaving so much to the brain to decide. As a song I think Tyler really performs his best in a while here, and I can't fucking wait to hear more.

Yeat - LYFESTYLE
75

"LYFESTYLE" is experimental hip hop artist Yeat's 2nd LP of 2024, the first being "2093" which in my personal opinion was amazing, which I expected him to continue on this project, which, he did not. Yeat take more of a Rage look on things with this album, and my only big problem with him doing so is making the project itself too long. A 1 hour rage album just ends up with some tracks being very forgetful or similar to others of the project. But there are many tracks ... read more

i listened to this album only about a week ago, but it has to be one of the best alt rock/metal albums i have ever heard, ik most people prefer white pony or around the fur when it comes to deftones, but this has to take the spot for me. Chino's vocals on "Cherry Waves" specifically make me fucking float, and I recommend this to you all that haven't heard this masterpiece yet.

Flyleaf - Memento Mori
85

Not as good as their debut imo, but still a pretty outstanding project overall, enjoyed most of the tracks, just i find some parts of the album drag on a bit, not terribly but its definitely noticeable I'll say that much.

Flyleaf - Flyleaf
100

flyleafs debut album has to be one of my favourite emo punk albums ive heard in a while, up there with Pierce The Veil's early work and MCR's early work. Not a whole lot to say other than that I really enjoyed every track on this album.

Tory Lanez - Alone At Prom
95

so it seems people on this site dont like tory. this was my introduction to his music and i gotta say i dont get the hate, this has some of the most catchiest choruses ive heard in a while, and while i get his comparison to the weeknd, hes not copying him. is every r&b artist copying the weeknd? the production style and delivery of this project is nowhere close to anything the weeknd has ever released (maybe you could make a point for dawn fm) but still, i overall had a great time listening ... read more

¥$ - VULTURES 2
30

this album is a pathetic atempt at trying to make more hits like the duo did with the first album, "FRIED" being an example of it, trying to be "CARNIVAL 2" and does a terrible job at it.

Kid Cudi - Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven
1

actually the worst thing i have ever heard in my fucking life, kid cudi takes this weird indie rock-ish take on things and does it in the worst way possible, with terrible rough guitar loops making 5 minute long lullabies, and whenever a beat actually sounded decent, kid cudi would come in with the vocals of what i would imagine would be a drunk dad in the studio, absolute abomination and i dont know how he dropped this and thought it would do numbers

Wyatt James - Fuck Eating On The Weekend
12

i think some of the production on this album has potential, but thats about all it has going for it
