I originally gave this a 98, and as I am posting this review, I've changed it to a 100. Is it truly perfect? Not really. But is it my favourite album of all time and solely deserves a 100 because of that? Yes. I love everything about it. I genuinely do not get what any of you see in this. This is just if pinnochiop polished, dumbed down, and played the sound of his music safe to the point where it sounds like a bunch of nothing. If i took the voicebank tuning from most of these songs, and swapped them with someone else’s tuning, they would just blend in tons of other songs. If this orientalist loliconic piece of shit becomes one of the most viewed Vocaloid songs of the year then we are all collectively fucked.
I was gonna listen to the actual Kessoku Band album first but I thought going through the actual ost was funnier. 56 songs and 71 minutes later and here we are.
Most of this was fun and really good (obviously, it’s bocchi the rock, a decent portion of people watch it because of the music) but a good 1/3 are just less than a minute songs that really only work when you’re actually watching the show and not just listening to it.
