To be completely honest - I really wasn't looking forward to this record. Yeah it got its bangers here and there, but the overall production of this record feels so woozy. This is by far their most experimental album in their catalogue. And that leaves big ups and downs
The coulour palette on this lp is sure one of their best. Songs like Qwik Maff and As the Hummingbird Hovers sound like nothing they've done on previous records. I got a lot of things to say about this record whilst having so little. Every song differs in quality whilst still being good? Consistency is just gone on this record but in a way that each song features a lot of different, little cool ideas. Also - weird cartoon snippets appear throughout the runtime which I have no clue what to make off.
