A decent atmospheric record that evokes the chilled, moody cuts of late Crystal Castles, blending synth-heavy darkness with haunting yet subdued rhythms.
Over the years, TR/ST music has evolved into a more chill and mellow atmosphere, loosing some of the dark and sensual sounds of his amazing self-titled debut album. Despite lacking some uniqueness and a more defined personality, Performance is still a very solid and enjoyable synthpop record to listen to.

Perdóname Alfons, pero para mí este es el lanzamiento más flojo del grupo. Amo amo amo el dúo de The Destroyer, siendo la canción homónima una de mis 10 canciones favoritas de todos los tiempos; pero Performance me aburrió terriblemente. No hay una propuesta fresca a mi parecer, no destaca en nada y siento que el álbum es malo, aburrido y soso.

I really DIDN'T know them until today, and I'm BLOWN AWAY (that's rare) right in the FIRST
song because they reminded me The Smiths but with the beats from Depeche Mode/ Tears for Fears
and that's AMAZING for OUR ears! Synthpop keeps slowly breathing and ALIVE! <3333
