After having this album in heavy rotation for the past couple of weeks, I'm still enjoying it a lot. Definitely AOTY material.
Everything sounds familiar, but the album as a whole still feels fresh. A big step up from Thank Your Lucky Stars, but I don't think it will surpass the emotional connection I had with Depression Cherry or any of the earlier albums.
I love how this band has stayed so consistent over the years. After 7 albums they still haven't lost their mojo.
