There are beautiful people everywhere, and Jessie Ware is one of them! This is seriously so much fun.
Strong contender for the most innovative project of the year. The world-building throughout this album is stellar. The entire track list sounds like the ambient PS2 startup menu noises. Consider my neurons tickled! 🌞⚡️✨💫
In interviews, Vollenweider mentions the difficulty of being raised by a father whose obsession with music hindered his ability to be present for his kids. You can hear pangs of this grief on Traumgarten, as well as joy for the chance to improvise with dad. This album showcases a brilliant collaboration between father and son, and I imagine it is very sentimental for the son since this album was published years after the father’s passing.
